Step 1

Complete an Admission Application

Apply free online at ccbc.edu/ApplyOnline.

Work with your high school college counselor to submit any that apply:

Step 2

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial Aid

We urge every student apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is the universal method of determining eligibility for aid. Our school code is 006807.

Scholarships

We offer two full-tuition scholarships to the top seniors in all school districts in Beaver County, as well as athletic scholarships, CCBC Foundation scholarships, and more. For more information and applications, visit ccbc.edu/scholarships.

Step 3

Do you need to take the Placement Test?

You do not need to take the test if any of the following apply:

  1. You attended another college and earned a C or higher in Math and/or English
  2. Took the ACT or SAT in the past 5 years and had the following scores
  3. In all 3 areas or took that part of PT only:

    OR

  4. While in high school, you earned a “B” in all English courses or earned a “C” in Pre-Calculus.

Remember to submit transcripts and/or test scores in order to be exempt from the placement test.

If none of the above apply to you, you do need to schedule the placement test.

Step 4

Register for Classes and Pay

Schedule an appointment with an academic counselor in order to select your classes. Show proof of residency and process your registration in person at the Information and Registration Center.

Congratulations, you’re now a CCBC student!

Tuition payment completes the registration process. We accept cash, personal check, money order, American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, a payment plan, or a complete financial aid file. Inquire at the Information and Registration Center for tuition due dates.
