Since then Community College of Beaver County has partnered with Shell and other industry leaders to identify current and future needs of the petrochemical industry, including engineering, process technology, maintenance, welding, safety, and more.

Nearly three years ago, Shell chose Pennsylvania for its news petrochemical plant and thousands of new jobs. I am proud to be in Monaca today for the groundbreaking of the Shell training center at CCBC. This facility will prepare students for high-paying jobs that will be available at the plant.
