  1. Make sure you’re ready to graduate. Complete a Degree Audit with the Counseling Office.

  2. Complete your Diploma Order Form.

  3. RSVP for your friends, family, and guests with our Commencement RSVP Form.

  4. Attend the Grad Fair on April 3-4 to pick up your no-cost cap and gown and graduation announcements.

Commencement FAQs


Q: When is Commencement?

A: This year’s Commencement is set for Thursday May 2, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Dome.


Q: How do I sign up to participate?

A: Complete your Diploma Order Form, RSVP for your guests here , and attend the Grad Fair.


Q: Is there a cost to graduate?

A: N0, cap and gown is included in your tuition and fees so there is no additional money you have to spend to graduate. Just be ready to celebrate!


Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Bring your cap and gown (you receive those at the Grad Fair on April 3-4), and yourself. We are not able to secure personal items during the event.


Q: Is there a dress code?

A: Yes! Commencment is a special ceremony. We ask that all participants please dress in business casual attire. If you are unsure about what that means, please click here.


Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Graduation check-in begins at 4:15 p.m. in the Learning Resources Center (LRC), room 9103. Please arrive and check-in no later than 5 p.m.
